![]() The church stands beside the tiny village centre in what seems to be a piece of wasteland. It has no porch but the arrangement of large flints and stone-work make the exterior walls look very handsome.
It is well worth the visit in order to see the great variety of carvings on the pew-ends, they are chiefly of animals and birds, many of them of devilish aspect with tails and claws occupied in attaching and gouging their prey. These is a scaipus on its back with its huge webbed feet over its head and there are also peaceful cameos of harvest scenes.
